ADOPT A TLC SHELTER CAT!

PAYTON - FEMALE AGE 4
ADOPT A SHELTER CAT!

These sweet kitties are currently available for adoption at the E. Amherst, NY Pet Supplies "Plus" Ten Lives Club adoption location!
EGYPT - FEMALE AGE 2

During the month of June - "Adopt A Shelter Cat" month - Ten Lives has reduced the adoption fee for all adult cats age 9 months & older to ONLY $25 (Reg. $75)!

All TLC kitties have been spayed/neutered, tested for FIV & FeLV, treated for fleas/ear mites/worms & vaccinated for rabies & distemper.

Egypt is approximately 2 years old & was surrendered by her owner to the Niagara County SPCA before coming to TLC.

She is a very petite little girl who would prefer a quiet home with no other cats or young kids.  Egypt has been micro-chipped so all her PURRSON would need to do is register her ID with the national database.

Payton is a sweet 4 year old girl who recently had a littler of kittens in a Ten Lives Club foster home.  Once her kittens were weaned, she came back to the TLC shelter to be spayed, tested, vaccinated & treated for fleas, etc.

PAYTON
Payton came to our location a few weeks ago.
She's a little bit shy but many times that can be due to the stress of being in a shelter situation. Once a kitty is in their forever home, they will come out of their shell!

WALDO
Waldo was pulled from the Buffalo City Shelter due to overcrowding.  He is approximately 2 years old and was found as a stray.

Waldo is super sweet and gets along well with the other kitties.  He would be a great fit for any household!

DANIEL

Daniel is 3 years old & super friendly & sweet!  He was rescued by TLC from a high-kill shelter.

Daniel is so happy to have the chance so many other kitties who end up in shelters never know - the chance for a new life in a loving forever home.  46% of cats in shelters are euthanized every year...

Heidi Lynn & her brother Homer are siblings.  They were orphaned & bottle-fed by a foster until old enough to come back to Ten Lives Club & find their forever homes.

HEIDI LYNN

The adoption fee for kittens 8 months old & younger is $125.  Kittens are not included in the June "Adopt A Shelter Cat" promotion.

The adoption fee for ALL cats & kittens includes:  spay/neuter, FIV & FeLV testing, flea/ear mite/worm treatments & first rabies & distemper vaccinations.  Rabies vaccinations can only be given to kittens age 4 months and older.

HOMER

While supplies last, every adoption from the TLC at PSP E. Amherst location will get a "New Kitty Kit"!  The kit includes a medical history sheet, valuable information for new cat owners, coupons, free sample of Whiskas treats, new collar & a can of premium cat food!

Stop in to Pet Supplies "Plus" at 9630 Transit Rd. in E. Amherst, NY to visit the kitties!

TOM KITTY FINDS FOREVER HOME!

Sweet boy Tom found his forever home on Saturday!  YAY TOM!

He's a lucky boy - he's going to the same home as Carl(o) & Coors AKA Rocko!  ~WOOT!~

Susan could hardly stand leaving Tom when she adopted Carl 2 weeks ago but she didn't want to shake things up too much at home all at once~!

When she stopped into Pet Supplies "Plus" on Thursday & Tom was still there, she took it as a sign he was meant to come home with her!

Tom was ready to go when I got to the cat room before Susan got there.  As soon as he stepped out of his cage he went straight to the window & watched for her to come down the aisle to the cat room!

MEET TOM KITTY!

This is sweet boy Tom!   Tom is 2 yrs. old & a super lovey, friendly boy who just wants to find his forever home & purrson who will love him.

He was found as a stray - probably abandoned since he had already been neutered.

Poor Tom had some scrapes/wounds on his nose & paws that were irritated & bloody when he came to the shelter. He was given antibiotics until they healed & he was ready to find a new home!

Tom just wants the love & attention he's never had.  Can you give him the forever home he deserves?

Tom is available for adoption at the TLC Pet Supplies Plus E. Amherst location at 9630 Transit Rd.

ADOPTION DAY FOR CARL!

CARL AKA CARLO & SUSAN ADOPTION DAY!

Beautiful boy Carl kitty found his forever home on Friday, May 1, 2015!

Carl had been at our location for less than a week before Susan called me to let me know she really wanted to adopt him.

Susan had visited the Pet Supplies Plus E. Amherst Ten Lives Club cat room the night before & fallen in love with Carl!
CARL - AGE 2

Susan & her husband Don - who is a veterinarian - own Amclare Veterinary Hospital.   They had adopted another kitty named Coors a few months back from our location.

All of their other pets are seniors. They wanted a playmate for Rocko who's the same age as Carl (AKA "Carlo") & full of energy!

COORS AKA ROCKO & SUSAN
They wanted a playmate for Rocko who's the same age as Carl (AKA "Carlo") & full of energy!

Coors is a 1-eyed kitty & not an unusually striking boy but FULL of personality!

We don't know exactly how he lost his eye, but since he was a stray rescue we are pretty sure it was from a confrontation with another cat, dog or predator that stray cats face every day.

Coors is now named "Rocko" & he's ready for a playmate!

Carlo will be a great fit for Susan and Don's household.

Rocko will have a new buddy with the same energy level & the senior kitties & pups can relax!

ENJOY YOUR NEW LIFE SWEET BOY!

How Many Nicknames Does Your Pet Have?

I'll admit, I have numerous silly nicknames for my kitteh Lilly Fae:

  • Lulu
  • Lillykins
  • Boo Boo
  • Boobums (Yeah, I know...)
  • Lilly Lou
  • Boopums
  • Boopie
She recognizes every one.  I've read the more nicknames you have for a loved one, the more loved that one feels.  Lilly holds my heart in her paws.

The same goes for my dog - Maggie Mae:

  • Maggs
  • Maggie Moo Moo
  • Moo Moo
  • Maggie Moo
  • Sissy
I know there are many more for each of them that I just can't think of off hand.  The point is, they both know and understand all of them.  They also know that I refer to them as "sisters".  As in, "Go play with Sissy!" or "Sissy wants to play!".  They love each other and although both of them vie for my undivided attention, they are devoted to each other and to my family.  It's a beautiful thing!
